My name is Starlet and I'm thrilled to share a bit about my journey in the world of design. It all began when I was a child, transforming anything I could find – clay, shoeboxes, scraps of wood – into miniature worlds complete with tiny characters. My sisters and I were given free rein to explore our creative pursuits, whether it was music, art, theater, animal husbandry, or plain old world exploration. This early passion for creativity and discovery led me to study Fine Arts and Set Design, along with a bit of music for fun! Now, I’m fortunate that I get to make a career out of being creative.

Over the past two decades, I've had the pleasure of collaborating with theater directors, filmmakers, photographers, and homeowners, bringing visual elements to life on stage, on screen, and in the real world. As a painter, I am drawn to colorful seaside scenes as my subjects, and while I mainly make art for its own sake, I happily take on commissions for anyone wanting something they can truly call their own. As a set designer, I love the collaboration, especially if it’s musical form (because I love to sing along!). As an interior designer, I look for the focal point in a room and build a story around it, finding ways to draw people in where they can feel relaxed and happy. No matter what, I’m always looking for ways to make life a little more vibrant, a little more beautiful, and a little more fun! And yes, Starlet is my real given name from birth!
